Muck Boots and the Weather

Not too long ago I accompanied a friend to visit her horse on another friend’s property. I haven’t seen a horse up close in quite a while so I thought it would be a neat adventure. This was towards the end of March and anybody that lives in the North can attest to the ground and soil conditions during this time of year. They are very sloppy. I went with my regular work boots thinking I’d be fine. Let me tell you, my boots would have been trashed. My friend let me borrow a pair of Muck Boots, since she had several pair. The only problem was they were something around a women’s size eight? I wear a men’s eleven in a shoe. So I had to put as much of my foot into the boot as possible.
