The New Arctic Sport Mid
January 4th, 2010 | by admin |
With the popularity of the Arctic Sport boot for the harsh winters, people wanted a shorter version than the traditional 16″ high boot. This new version is the same exact features of the regular arctic sport but is now in a 12″ version.
So why the 12″ version? For some people, the regular version was just too high for them, topping out over the mid calf area. This new shorter version ends well above the ankle somewhere between the ankle and the mid calf. Since this new version was introduced in 2009, it’s been selling very well.
The best thing about these boots is the warmth they offer even in the coldest weather. I’ve worn the regular arctic sport boots in some of the coldest weather in deep snow for hours and my feet never got cold. The boot is tough and nice and flexible. The best part is the way the top of the boot fits snug so that snow won’t fall down into the boot. One of the most uncomfortable feelings you can experience.
With a great tread design and great grip from the bottom of the sole, these boots not only keep you feet warm they grip wet surfaces to minimize slipping. And since these boots have no laces that you have to work on to get them tight, you just slip them on and off. How many times have you walked through snow and had to undo frozen laces. No worries with this boot.
If you do anything in the cold outdoors you owe it to yourself to check out this boot.
